The Physical Education Centre at Queens University Belfast has been home to the main training club in the country for some years now and will hopefully continue to be in years to come. Attracting a huge number of students, the club is one of the largest and strongest in membership numbers and attendance. Many of the taekwondo students make good use of the other facilities in the PEC, enhancing their fitness and training other areas of fitness and different muscle groups which are essential for taekwondo practice.
The PEC itself is undergoing a huge multi-million pound development, which will see new improved sports facilities and more space. Membership fees have not changed so far, but be quick, as they are sure to change once the new facility is complete, which will be towards the end of this summer, August 2006.

The PEC is situated right beside the Botanic Gardens in the South end of Belfast and is accessible via the various entries into the gardens and more commonly via the Stranmillis Embankment (where Tennents Vital takes place each year) where there are free car parking facilities available.
